Marrying a Mexican National
Ensure plenty of time to complete paperwork and request.
Requirements are as follows:
1. Complete a request of marriage form
2. Complete and sign a letter in Spanish that expresses your wishes to marry your fiancé (the Mexican National). The letter is presented to Mexican immigration officials requesting permission to marry.
You must also provide the following with the letter:
1. Copy of your passport
2. Copy of your birth certificate
3. Copy of your Mexican Visa- FM3, FM2 or tourist Visa
4. Copy of your fiancé’s Mexican passport
5. Two witnesses with copies of their passports
6. Letter of support
7. Receipt of payment of fees due for request
